He heard the other’s comment and he couldn’t help but smile just a bit at the man, seeing the tinge of red. Ah, so he could be cute. Wait. Sebastian, you’re a brother.”He had to remind himself, shaking his head. Vows. Vows.
Sebastian heard the remark about not seeing him without it, and he smiled a bit at Fenris. “My armor was commissioned by my father once I became a brother, it’s.. important to me, more as a memory from him, and it’s great protection. I’ve yet to see you without yours.” He realized that could have been taken in a sort of intimate way, (he was sure Isablea would somehow manage to make it, anyway,) and Sebastian cleared his throat lightly.
"So, you won’t throw pillows at me whenever I sing?"
Oh, maybe the other was in a little struggle, he seemed to think in a special way when he looked at him - that was what Fenris thought by looking into Sebastians face. He really looked like it. But then he started to talk again. Ah, yes, maybe he had said something like this before.
"I.. i yes. I barely undress it’s.. some kind of protection i need for myself. I was a bodyguard back than and.. well…" He felt a bit uncomfortable. Sebastian knew nothing about his past, only that he was a slave. He knew nothing and maybe it wasn’t needed, right? But with a sad face the elf sat down again and looked at his feet. All of this weighed so heavy on him, he wasn’t sure to tell the other or not. For what, he thought and looked at him.
"No, i won’t. It was only because i was sleeping and noises always irritate me.. pretty much. So.. don’t worry.." But his voice had changed, it sounded sad.
Brutus paled awfully quick and felt his stomach drop. This was hard. He had truly angered Fenris even though he thought it was his right to yell at this woman. He was just going his job wasn´t he? This wasn´t fair! There where tears in Brutus eyes and he tried to swallow the lump in his throat down.
"I´m sorry, Master.", he said with a weak voice, "This will never happen again. Forgive me."
The little elf nodded quickly then and hurried to prepare everything and everybody to leave.
Danarius smirked when Fenris returned to him.
"Does your little pet angers you, my dear?", he mocked, "It´s awful when slaves don´t do what you want, mhm?"
It was just a matter of minutes until they all could leave the camp again. Now that they had a hint it wouldn´t take them all too long, to see a fire on the horizon. A little village again and hopefully they would find his attackers there.
"Oh this is going to be bloody.", the Magister smirked and send the Mercenaries first to see if they were awaiting anybody or if they were indeed helpless against their attack.
Fenris let out a annoyed sound. “You thought it’s some of your duties and i tell you it’s not. No reason to whine arround.” Oh yes, it really was hard to have a slave but he understood Brutus only wanted to make him happy. “I’m not really mad at you..”, he said before the other left and he went back.
And of course Danarius took the chance to mock him. Ye, of course he did. “Yes, it’s kinda hard, i think i understand you better now, Master. I think it’s a good experience for me to know what it is to have a slave.”
All of them left soon and Danarius seemed so satisfied once they found a new village of these beasts. Fenris was a bit upset about the fact that he send the mercenaries first - HE was the one who wanted to let them feel his anger. But he was a good slave and waited patiently. His Master didn’t want him to go now he wouldn’t do so.
somebody kiss me and tell me im pretty
“I slept fine, and sorry for waking you, I’m normally alone, I’ve gained the habit of singing to myself.” He figured his singing bothered Fenris, and he decided that he wouldn’t, it seemed that the other didn’t like it.
Sebastian picked up the pillow and put it back onto the bed, stretching. He was wearing most of what he normally had under his armor, so basically just pants boots and a shirt. He’d removed the gloves and chainmail as well.
Sebastian picked up the… wounded copy of the book, and frowned, looking as if he was concerned for the book’s health.
Fenris laughed a bit. “It’s no problem, it just woke me up, that’s all. I love to listen to your voice.. i.. i mean.. it calms me.” His cheeks turned red and he felt a heat coming up. How embarrassing!
He watched Sebastian putting the pillow back and smiled at him. He really seemed worried about the book when he picked it up - his mistake he hadn’t put it on the table before falling asleep.
"It’s.. the first time i see you like this. I never saw you without your armor." And also he was never seen without his armor. But it was some kind of protection for him, he still was afraid some slavers would try to catch him - he should be prepared everytime. He wondered he was able to sleep at nights but also at nights his sleep wasn’t very deep and sometimes Fenris was tired as hell over the day. But fights and such distracted him from being sleepy most of the time.
Goodnight, everybody. I’ll reply tomorrow <3
"Welcome. Mother spends money as fast as I make it…though these were quite worth it." Akir gave the elf a happy smirk. His bright green eyes lighting up against his own copper colored skin and dark hair. Hawke pulled off another slice and nibbled on it as they walked across the warm sandy dirt. He shook his head at the question. "Merrill needed to see her keeper and I wanted to talk to her about Fenryl. I was looking over some of my father’s notes, I may have a way to help him." The mage smirked. "I know you don’t like Merrill much, but something tells me there we’ll be a pretty good haul from this trip." Hawke was quiet suddenly as he caught something out of the corner of his eye. Isabella, Varric, and Merrill were all in front of them…
Suddenly there green and silver tipped arrow embedded themselves in the dirt at Fenris’ feet. Suddenly a group of salvers moved out of the hills and bushes. “YOU WILL HAULT!” Hawke held onto his staff the enchantments starting to glow lightly on the pale polished wood. Hawke glared at the slavers. “Seriously? An ambush? Will you idiots ever learn?!” The slavers ignored Akir, insteaded turning their gaze to Fenris. “You are in possession of a magister’s property-” Before the man could get another word out Hawke called up a his force magic and threw the slaver hard against the edge of the cliff. “FENRIS IS A FREE MAN!”
"Really that fast?" Fenris wasn’t sure if he would like someone to spend his money as fast as he got it, but in the end he was sure Hawke was okay with that. She was his family. Both went further, behind the others and he gave a short chuckle. "It’s your decision to help her or not, i just follow you." And he really enjoyed it. Yes, he did. After these years he saw him as a friend and.. maybe there was something more. Yes, there was a feeling inside of him he didn’t want to give any room. Fenris wasn’t sure he could handle all of this.
But he also caught something and was fast enough for the arrow not to go through one of his feet. Good, he was lucky - until he saw who did this. Slavers!
Before he could say anything Hawke told them he was a free man and he started to glow immadiately. “I’m not a slave anymore!” And then the fight started. Did Danarius find him? Was he near? Fenris was afraid - as much as he wanted to kill him as afraid he was now! But the fight didn’t last long and he went over to one of these man and grabbed his hair. “Were is he!? Tell me!” Oh, he was really afraid and in his anger he hit him. And hell, it was Hadriana who was looking for him!
Brutus breath hitches as he heard Fenris´ deep voice behind him. He snatched around and looked ashamed, carefully not looking the other elf into the eyes.
The woman he had made fun of minutes before ran away crying back to the other slaves.
"M-Master!", Brutus quickly whined and made himself really small. "She did her work wrong and I just wanted to remind her.. I-im sorry!"
His face was burning red and his heart was racing quickly. Was Fenris now angry with him? Would he hit him? Or worse: Would he send him away?
The smaller Elf dared to look a little bit up to see if his Master was angry or if he had any new work for him.
Danarius came out of the cave as soon as he felt ready and everything inside of the cave was packed again.
"I want to leave soon! Now that we have a hint where those beasts could hide themselves, I don´t want to wait until there is another storm!", the Magister raised his staff as a sign for everybody to get ready and hurry up.
The Mercenaries smirked and were happy to finally get some killing soon again.
"Master, Master!" He replied and now was really angry. "It’s not your duty to blame any of them if they do something wrong! It’s not!” But he wouldn’t follower her to say sorry, this was some kind of Brutus’ work if he wanted to do so. But it seemed he really liked to earn their hate - how wonderful of him. Did he think Fenris would help him everytime he did such dumb things? “Next time you’ll tell me and then i decide to tell Master Danarius or not!” With a heavy sign he rubbed the back of his nose. “Don’t make them hate you, Brutus, they’ll never trust you again and i need them to trust you, okay? This is an order.” And when Master came out of the cave he looked at him and then turned back to Brutus. “Prepare everything, Brutus, and please hurry.” And then Fenris went back to the Magister to prepare everything for both of them. This still was his task, no one else. And now he could imagine how hard it could be to have a slave - you always were in the need to watch them to not doing anything wrong.
Sebastian decided to strip himself of his armor, taking off the metal pieces and gently, as quiet as possible, placing them down. He grabbed the polish and a rag and began to spread it evenly, rubbin it over the armor as he let Fenris sleep. He had to chuckle a bit at the…
Sebastian looked up at Fenris, hearing him move, and was surprised to have a pillow unceremoniously hit him in the fact.
The fluff in a bag fell to his lap and he looked over at Fenris in complete surprise.
He’s seen the elf while fighting, but this was downright terrifying.
He shut his mouth and looked at the other in complete, uninterrupted silence from the other.
He watched him quietly, deciding he probably shouldn’t sing in front of him.
Fenris sat there, looking down at his feet, blinking at them and trying to fully awake. Ah, he hated it.
After some minutes his eyes went at Sebastian. “What?” His voice sounded a bit hoarse so he cleared his throat and rubbed his eyes again. Seemed like he had suprised the archer pretty much.
"I don’t like interruption of my sleep, i’m sorry." And finally he sounded normal again, how good! "I can’t sleep well most of the time and this time it was so good and.. well, it’s okay." He smiled and turned his head to the right and to the left before he got up with a short yawn.
"Did you.. sleep well? I mean, i hopefully didn’t wake you up? I was so tired and.. well…" He stopped and shook his head. He had read some of the pages of the chant of lights but then he was too tired and only caressed the others hand until falling asleep himself. That was.. kind of embarrassing for him.
The first reply to a starter is nearly as terrible as the starter itself xD
Ahhhh, it takes too long for me to set my first reply, i’m sorry ;;
SHH! Darling you are fantastic!
Sebastian decided to strip himself of his armor, taking off the metal pieces and gently, as quiet as possible, placing them down. He grabbed the polish and a rag and began to spread it evenly, rubbin it over the armor as he let Fenris sleep. He had to chuckle a bit at the fact that they basically switched.
Sebastian began to hum, soft and low, until he was singing the Chant of Light’s verses softly, just enough so the other would have been able to hear.
His sleep was peacful and he didn’t hear anything. Not until the prince started to sing the chant of light’s verses. Oh, why was there someone who interrupted his sleep?
Without thinking he patted arround him until he grabbed a pillow and threw it at Sebastian. In the same moment he opened his eyes in a sleepy mood and squinted. “….” His mouth opened and closed again before he got up and rubbed his eyes. Perfect, now he was sleepy and a bit grumpy.
